The Land of a Thousand Rivers

Geography

The Land of a Thousand Rivers is a network of river valleys, varying from Shangri-Las nestled in steep mountains to broad realms reminiscent of the Nile, the Ganges, Mesopotamia, or the Yellow River. The land is ancient, with sporadic civilization dating back more than six thousand years— the wars there have left ruins and peculiar magical effects that are still visible.

This may be the birthplace of the Pyramid pantheon; certainly, this is where the missionaries who brought it to Sheflek hailed from, and the pyramid temples here go back to the earliest recorded civilization.
