Ivy League Football Report, 1995 October 16
The one conference matchup this week in Ivy League football
saw the Big Green of Dartmouth hand the Yale Elis their first league
loss of the season, 22-7. In non-league play, Princeton upped their
overall mark to 5-0 with a 41-0 shutout of Lafayette, Penn lost for
the second week in a row, 48-34 to William and Mary, Columbia fell
37-35 to Lehigh, Cornell lost 10-7 to Bucknell, Brown topped Colgate
21-6 and Harvard lost a 27-22 contest with Holy Cross.
While Cornell and Dartmouth finish up their non-conference slates by
travelling to Lehigh and hosting Colgate, respectively, the rest of
the league is back to Ivy play for the duration. 2-0 Columbia hosts
1-1 Yale, 2-0 Princeton is at 0-2 Harvard, and 1-1 Penn entertains 0-2
Brown.
