Ivy League Football Report, 1995 October 30

The Princeton Tigers continued their drive towards the Ivy League title by handing the Columbia Lions their first conference loss, 44-14. Keeping pace and joining Columbia a game back of Princeton were Cornell, who beat Brown 38-28, and Pennsylvania, who downed Yale 16-6. Meanwhile, Dartmouth extended Harvard's woes with a 23-7 win over the Crimson.

Next week the game to watch is in Philadelphia where the 4-0 Tigers face their last serious hurdle in 3-1 Penn. 3-1 Columbia tries to recover from their whipping by hosting 2-2 Dartmouth, and 3-1 Cornell tunes up at home against 1-3 Yale before closing the season with Columbia and Penn. Finally, a New England cable TV audience will watch the two 0-4 teams look for their first league win as Harvard visits Brown.
